What's in a Name?

I have decided to start this blog to share my thoughts on the world swirling on around me, but choosing a name certainly wasn't easy!  So, why Peanut Butter Press?  Well, it all starting a long, long time ago in Mrs. Holds' fifth grade class at IHM.  I absolutely adored Mrs. Holds; she practiced a certain brand of teaching that was the perfect combination of creativity, innovation and tough love.   She also taught me to love writing.  During the poetry unit of that year, I wrote a poem entitled "Elephants, Elephants."  It wasn't Frost, Dickenson, Prelutsky or Silverstein, but it was liked by someone over there at the Indianapolis News because it was published in their weekly Peanut Butter Press section for kids.  I can still remember the ad for the PB Press.  It went a little something like this, "Peanut Butter Press for kids to peruse.  Food for your brain in Tuesday's News!"  As best I can remember, here is Elephants, Elephants:

Elephants, elephants so big and tall,
Elephants, elephants on the wall!
Elephants, elephants in the air,
Elephants, elephants everywhere!

With a start like that, I ask, how can I keep from blogging?
